Upset I relapsed after 22 days

Just feeling down since I relapsed and I called out. I know I'm probably over thinking everything.

Start over. Can you tell what you did wrong which set up the relapse?

yes, it was my friend going out but I had to work the next morning so I had to stay in. Decided to try to drink since I'll be home alone but as usual not as I planned. 1pint lead to a 6pack them 2more shots next thing its 9am.. but I'm aware it was more so my ego, jealousy. Thanks

You show great insight to point out that it was your ego and jealousy. I strongly recommend you work the 12 steps because once you get throgh steps four through seven you will get rid of this out of balanced ego and jealousy. Since they won't be operating, you won't drink. Staying sober requires us get down to these causes and conditions. Are you getting to AA meetings and do you have a sponsor to help you work the steps?
