hurting loved ones when blacked out

created by: Shelly89 5 years, 5 months ago

recently I have had two times in which I have blacked out and said, acted to the one person I love the most. he has every reason to be upset with me and I need to change my drinking. I not only hurt him but our family and Im trying to keep my hopes for the best.
Im afraid he wont love me or believe me when I say it will never happen again. I have added this tool on my own to keep myself accountable and on the right path. Im ashamed of myself and Im trying to move forward but keep thinking of these past incidents.

I just added this today too. You have to stay positive. Tell him your taking action to be better and tell him you need his help, love and support to keep you on track. 💛

Could you show him this tool. Try Pro quit app, it shows you the health benefits by the minute. Good luck.

You are not you when you drink. People have a hard time listening to that. They love you and thats why it hurts them. Then it hurts you as well, because you hurt someone you care about. I do the same thing. Seeking help is what I am doing as well. I hope everything works out for you. When I hurt the ones I love, it makes me want to drink.
