Don't stop doing it just because it works.

Addicts tend to have a bunch of behavior errors. First, we don't like to follow orders. That is why the Big Book says follow these "suggestions." Second, addicts tend to stop doing things that work well. We say to ourselves, "OK. I got it. No need to do that anymore." This may be the biggest mistake we could make. Addiction is a chronic disease and according to every study, we have a lifetime risk of relapse. It is "doing pushups in the parking lot" and getting stronger even if we are not using.

To-do:

We must keep doing what works. Even if we think we understand the recovery process, we must keep doing the recovery process because knowledge avails us of nothing. Recovery is all about action.
