You learn to be less resentful by being exposed to people you could resent

Next time you are exposed to someone you could resent, look at the situation differently. Instead of being upset about it, be happy about it. Welcome the situation because this is an opportunity for you to grow. Without being exposed to people you could resent, you will never have an opportunity to improve how you handle resentment. This attitude of welcoming difficult situations like resentment will take away the fear you have of being around someone you could resent and improve your recovery program because you will have an an opportunity to practice recovery skills.
