Excuses are monuments built on the road to failure

If you are making excuses, you are trying to justify doing what you are not supposed to be doing. Excuses represent misprioritization, disorganization, and disingenuousness. They are the hallmark of relapse behavior. Even good excuses ultimately mean that something got in the way of what you were supposed to be doing to stay sober. Excuses are a defense. They usually are a sign that a character defect is operating to defend your ego.

To-do:

Count how many times you make excuses today. They may be blocking you from your goal. Organize your life to eliminate them and you will find your life will be less stressful and happier.
