Long two weeks, but with lots of help from this forum, my higher power and my family...I am on the right track.

Today is my trigger day too. Thursday my husband works until 9 and my son is at his dads so I am alone. That is always my get shit faced night. Last week was rough, we will see how tonight goes.
Have a plan in place to avoid the trigger. Do something completely different, go to an in person meeting, take yourself out for dinner (or go with a recovery friend), catch a movie, anything to get you out of trigger mode.
I made plans with my mom already but that oy gets me to 5. Time to start a new Netflix series I think.
Working in the garden and built a planter box with a trellis this afternoon. Helps that I teach middle school wooshop. lol.
And that the weather is beautiful.
hopefully your evening went well. I got through the game without any beer. I'm so proud of myself. if you have Amazon prime try watching Suits. I love that show or Marvelous Mrs. mazel. and virgin river on netflix is a good one.
