Starting for real......this time.

I have drank a pint of liqour a night for about 2 1/2 yrs. i have went last week 3 or 4, days without drinking and have slight if any withdrawls. No shakes (my hands were jittery before drinking) or headaches. But that doesn't feel right. And I'm terrified of getting the hallucinations is probably why I keep doing it. Somebody said they can just hit you like a hammer 7-10 days from your last drink. My question is can you go 3-4 days after drink that much every night without withdrawals or are they all just gonna kick in all the sudden. shakes, headache,fatigue, hallucinations or Seizures scare me to? thanks

you should go to a detox, ER or urgent care to be safe. Hang in there. you can do this. It gets better. Much better!

Hi I drank a bottle wine every night 18 years, occasional night off. I too was terrified of seizures, stopped last Sunday, got palpitations first day, honestly nothing since. I'm female and only 5foot and have now got liver disease, but no withdrawals. At clinic a few years ago they said I could cut drinking down over a week and that stops dts. I used pro quit app which shows a timescale of your health when you stop drinking, best thing I ever found. Think it was easier this time with that and I wanted to do it, I wasn't being bullied into it. My very best wishes.
