Monopoly takes concentration, calm, resilience, the ability to handle frustration, the ability to handle setbacks; indeed, it can make one extremely angry. In fact, it can be extremely stressful. Yet, people play Monopoly for recreation. The secret of enjoying life is to face problems with a light-hearted attitude. Try to make chores fun. Make believe you are just playing a game. This is not too far fetched an idea because each chore and problem will either resolve or dissolve and it might only help to face them with a cheerful attitude.
Today I will imagine my problems as just a game. I will be confident that although I may not get what I want, I will get what I need.
